Where We Donate

One of the purposes of our website is to help fund the three charities we support with our own personal donations. The profit we make from our photographic work is sent to one of these charities:

JDRF

We have supported the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for thirty years. Our oldest son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus at the age of ten and the support, encouragement and resources the JDRF provided us throughout his life have been priceless. We are very grateful.

MMRF

The second charity to be the recipient of our donations is the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation . They are a more recent recipient of our donations but support for MMRF dates to two years ago when Tom was diagnosed with this blood cancer. Their educational webinars, research program and clinical guidance have been supremely helpful to both of us as we navigate through the chemotherapy and the emotions inherent in confronting this disease. We are indebted to them, as well.

AUDUBON

The third charity of choice is, no surprise, the National Audubon Society . Ever since it was founded by the heroic George Bird Grinell in 1886, the National Audubon Society has stood in the vanguard of trying to make our planet a better place to live. They fought against market hunting of birds and the associated feather market; they fought for the landmark legislation, Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918, and have carried on the ecological fight to save our planet into the present day.
